PRIVATE CHARTERS
At the Falmouth-Edgartown Ferry, we are committed to making each charter special. Aboard either the M/V Sandpiper or the M/V Pied Piper, we are able to accommodate almost any occasion. With the convenience of two vessels, the time and date of your charter are not limited by our everyday ferry schedule. Chartering is available from mid-May to early October. Let our experienced and friendly crew host your next unique event.
Depending on the size of your party, you may choose either the M/V Sandpiper or the M/V Pied Piper. The maximum capacity for the M/V Sandpiper is 110, and the maximum capacity for the M/V Pied Piper is 130. Each vessel’s main deck allows passengers outdoor access around the entire boat. Step inside our mahogany-trimmed main cabin, which houses our beautifully varnished bar. Collapsible seats conveniently fold down into tables, allowing further space for catering services. Toward the aft of the main cabin, there are two well-maintained restrooms. The upper deck offers additional seating as well as breathtaking views of the cape and islands.
Departing from Falmouth Marine on Falmouth Inner Harbor, our vessels can take you to a number of beautiful locations. Our vessels can also pick up groups from Memorial Wharf in Edgartown. Whether you want to cruise through Woods Hole and into Buzzards Bay, go down the Elizabeth Islands, or enjoy the lighthouses and harbors of Martha’s Vineyard, our captain and crew work with each customer to determine the best route for your charter.
The Falmouth-Edgartown Ferry works closely with Windfall Market, which is able to provide and deliver party platters. For menus and more information, please visit www.windfallmarket.com. If you have something more specific in mind, you may choose to bring your own catering service on board. Please note that certain catering limitations do apply.
Massachusetts licensing requires that all beverages be provided by Cape and Island Transport. No alcoholic beverages may be served until the vessel is underway. We offer a full-service bar including beer, wine, premium spirits, and soft drinks. Specific beverages that are not typically stocked may be requested prior to your charter. You may request an open bar or cash bar, as well as drink tickets that can be given to each guest accordingly.
Live entertainment may be provided by the chartering party. Our aft deck allows a covered and uncovered area suitable for a small band or a DJ. Due to local sound ordinances, some further rules and regulations may apply.
